Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc.(NISD) released the NL8902 series, a high quality sound, JFET input, dual audio operational amplifier for use in audio applications.

In recent years, it has become easy to listen to music on PCs and smartphones. On the other hand, there is a growing demand to enjoy music with high quality sound on audio equipment. This product is a JFET input type audio operational amplifier to be released to meet this growing demand. We have applied the high quality sound technology cultivated in our original brand “MUSES” to this type of operational amplifier, which has few options in the market, to provide an excellent balance of sound quality, characteristics, and price. The product can be used in a wide range of applications, from entry-level to high-end models.

In addition to high quality sound, as well as low input bias current and high slew rate, which are features of the JFET input type, noise and distortion characteristics, which are important for audio characteristics, are well balanced.

In addition, the design prevents phase reversal even when the input voltage exceeds the common-mode input voltage range, maintaining stable output even in the event of sudden input variations.
