2017-12-06 Ricoh launches ultra-low quiescent current DCDC converters, and low noise and low supply current LDO regulator for wearables and IoT devices.

Ricoh launched buck DCDC converters RP511/RP512 and a buck-boost DCDC converter RP604 with ultra-low quiescent current, and an LDO regulator RP122 with low noise and low supply current.

As IoT market expands, the strong market demands such as long-time battery driving, low noise, and miniaturization are increasing for IoT terminals. Our newly released products enable to meet the demands for IoT terminals with sensors, microcomputers, and communication ICs.

RP511 Series / RP512 Series

The RP511/RP512 is a buck DCDC converter operates at the minimum input voltage of 2.0 V and achieves 300 nA quiescent current at no load and 10 nA ultra-low standby current. These features greatly contribute to the long-time battery driving.

Key Features and Specifications

RP511 Series

0.3 µA IQ Low Quiescent Current 100 mA Buck DCDC Converter with Synchronous Rectifier

RP512 Series

0.3 µA IQ Low Quiescent Current 300 mA Buck DCDC Converter with Synchronous Rectifier

RP604 Series

The RP604 is a buck-boost DCDC converter operates at the minimum input voltage of 1.8 V and enables a continuous battery use with the boost operation even if the battery voltage drops below the use voltage. The flatted output voltage prevents malfunction of system devices by facilitating system designs and supporting a rapid power voltage drop.
The RP604 also achieves 300 nA quiescent current at no load and 10 nA ultra-low standby current contributing to the long-time battery driving.
